About the Job:
PowerPhone's mission is to connect people, processes and technology in a way that empowers the 911 industry and improves each 911 center's standard of care. To help us continue to reach our mission, we are expanding and are looking to hire an Account Associate. The positions works collaboratively with an Inside Account Manager to support all aspects of the sales and customer service process. This is a blended role of relationship selling to warm prospects and out reach to develop new prospects.
As an Account Associate your typical day consists of a variety of different tasks from helping to identify new opportunities, making calls to current customers to work on upgrading them to our solution, managing current classes run in your team's territory, and supporting your Account Manager to administer the processing of new orders.
This position is perfect for someone who is a good listener and has the ability to assess customer's needs. Due to your team covering multiple states, work is done on the phone and requires outreach be done via the phone. Many 911 centers know of us but do not realize our new offering.
Profiling existing accounts to identify additional opportunities
Support Account manager prospecting new clients and territories to identify potential opportunities
Out reach to identify training opportunities
Providing sales support, updating CRM, order entry and account management
At least 1-2 years of insides sales or customer service experience
Excellent telephone demeanor
Strong interpersonal skills
Team focused and strong self-starter
